What Is the Cold Drawn Steel Industry?
The cold drawn steel industry is a metal processing sector in which steel raw material is processed through cold drawing methods to achieve specific forms and dimensions. Steel bars, wire or profiles are passed through special dies to reach the desired cross-sectional geometry and surface quality.

The Cold Drawing Method
Cold drawing is the process of shaping steel at room temperature. Compared to hot rolling, cold drawing provides:
- Tighter dimensional tolerances
- Smoother surface quality
- Higher mechanical strength
- More precise geometry

Çeksan's Production Capacity
Çeksan has been manufacturing using the cold drawing method since 1984. At its 14,000 m² factory in Biga, Çanakkale, the company produces door handle spindles, window handle spindles, hinge pins, transmission shafts and custom profiles.

Product Range
Products manufactured by Çeksan through cold drawing: square bars, round bars, D profiles, knurled spindles, slotted spindles, hooks and transmission shafts.
