What Is a Cold-Drawn Steel Rod / Wire Rod?

A cold-drawn steel rod, also referred to as a wire rod, is a round-section steel bar manufactured using the cold-drawing method. It is a fundamental semi-finished product used in many industries, from machinery manufacturing and door hardware to automotive and agriculture.
