Hinge Pin

What Is a Hinge Pin?

A hinge pin is a cylindrical steel shaft that forms the axis of rotation in door and window hinges. This small component connects the two leaves of the hinge, supports the weight of the door, and rotates hundreds of times during repeated opening and closing.

Why Is a High-Quality Pin Important?

Low-quality pins wear out and bend over time, preventing the door from operating properly. Most squeaking, door sagging, and lock alignment problems are caused by worn hinge pins.
